(New Britain, Conn., March 13, 2017)– The New Britain Bees today announced their 2017 promotional schedule, full of fun entertainment for everyone at a great discount. The promotional schedule will be highlighted by 11 Fireworks Displays, one on every Saturday night game at New Britain Stadium, while each day of the week will have an associated promotion, all designed to entertain fans in Central Connecticut throughout the summer.

The Bees will kick off the season in style on April 21 vs. the York Revolution, with a fabulous fireworks extravaganza on Opening Night presented by Advanced Physical Therapy.

Every Monday “Dollar Day” will feature $1 concession items available throughout the ballpark (hot dogs, popcorn, chips and more). Tuesday games will feature the return of “Two-Fer Tuesday”, with Buy One, Get One tickets available online until 4 PM on the day of the game with the promotional code “BOGO”. Wednesday’s “Fun 4 Everyone” promotion features four tickets, four hot dogs, 4 soft drinks and 4 bags of chips for just $50 – a 60% discount! Thirsty Thursday returns in 2017, now with half price drafts available at ALL concession stands. Foul Pole Friday returns as well in 2017 – if a designated player hits a home run into either foul pole, one lucky fan in attendance will win $50,000! New for 2017 is the addition of “Fat Tire Fridays”, where fans can enter to win a custom Detroit New Belgium Brewing Co. Beach Cruiser bike valued at $1,000! The Bees will wear their special “Hardware City” gold alternate jerseys 11 times throughout the season, for each Sunday home game as part of “Hardware City Sunday Family Fun Days”. Every Sunday game at New Britain Stadium features a full team pre-game autograph session from 12:40 PM – 1 PM, and postgame Kids Run the Bases!

Included in the schedule are six giveaway nights so far, including:
• Opening Night (April 21) Magnet Schedule Giveaway, presented by Advanced Physical Therapy (First 1,000 fans)
April 22nd Schedule Poster Giveaway presented by ImageInk (First 1,500 fans)
• Buzzle Balm Giveaway for all mothers in attendance on May 14th
• Martin Rosol’s Giveaway (Item TBD) on July 2nd (First 1,000 fans)
• Coors Light Cup Giveaways (First 1,000 Fans) on July 27th and August 17th

The promotional schedule also features several theme nights, including Latin American Heritage Night (May 4), Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Night (May 13), Military Appreciation Day (May 28), Bark in the Park (June 11), Irish Heritage Night (July 27), Sting’s Birthday (August 6), Princess Night (August 16), Octoberfest (September 7), Harley-Davidson Bike Night (September 8), First Responder’s Night (September 9) and Fan Appreciation Day (September 10). In addition, Sportscenter anchor and 2017 National Sports Media Association Hall of Fame Inductee Linda Cohn will make a special appearance at New Britain Stadium on July 30th to throw out a ceremonial first pitch!

As part of the summer promotional schedule, the game on Tuesday, July 4thbetween the Bees and Somerset Patriots has been moved up to 2:05 PM to allow fans the opportunity to participate in New Britain’s Independence Day celebration.

Individual game tickets will go on sale at the New Britain Stadium Box Office this Saturday, March 18th, starting at 10 AM as part of the Bees’ annual individual ticket launch event.
